Part of a small group of painted tole chandeliers with this distinctive form including one in the Royal palace of Racconigi (N. Gabrielli, Racconigi, Turin, 1972, p. 95) and one in the Fondazione Accorsi (A. Pedrini, Il ferro battuto sbalzato e cesellato in Italia dal secolo XI al secolo XVIII, Turin, 1969, fig. 456).

Provenance : Removed from a palace in the province of Turin.
