Pablo Reinoso
A sculptor by training but fundamentally an artist, Pablo Reinoso has practiced his art in various forms since his earliest years.
He created his first sculpture at the age of 13 and his first bench-sculpture at 15, but even at 6 he was already making chairs, bookshelves, and inventing carts to race down the slopes of the square called “France” in Buenos Aires.
Born in Argentina to a French mother, Pablo Reinoso settled in Paris in 1978.
His love for his French grandfather—a cultivated man, fond of art and skilled with his hands—nurtured his curiosity about everything humans are capable of inventing and led him to learn the use of woodworking tools.
His master in sculpture instilled in him both a respect for noble materials and a taste for hard work.
He received a grant to study marble techniques in Carrara, which helped him escape the Argentine dictatorship; he then decided to settle in France.
